This summer I had the pleasure of making the above wedding banner for Allison and Berrys wedding, last month they had a splendid write up in FDlux magazine about their gorgeous Maine wedding and my banner made it into one of the photos. So happy with how it turned out and even happier that they loved it!

When I see things I love I cut them out and paste them in my composition notebook otherwise known as my inspiration book. So fun to look at later!
School work has been slowing down the pillow making process considerably as of late. Here is a relatively new Lincoln, within the next week I will attempt to be a one woman assembly line of these guys. hope to have some new ones up on etsy too...
ta da. the obama pillow has just gotten even better. each one now has a small A.W tag printed on a scrap of vintage fabric, sturdier red fabric on the back and drumroll a "YES WE DID" patch on the back.
this Thermos never ceases to amaze me. keeps my water cold on these hot texas days.
i volunteered at a daycare for children living in homeless shelters up in dallas. and on the first day the kids couldn't pronounce my name so they called me toastie.
yes, the kittens made it to austin. and no my boyfriend won't let me put them up. ah, at least they are here.
so nice to be reunited with all of my paper and pens and random bits stuff I have been holding onto for years. Upon receiving my things I immediately began making a sign, the result of which can be seen in the photo. It is a Teddy Roosevelt quote that reads " Do what you can, with what you have, where you are". I found it fitting.
I had the honor of making this banner for a couples wedding. It turned out great, the glitter was a nightmare tho! Whoever said "glitter is the herpes of craft supplies" was right.
